Level 1 knowledge: Antiperspirant has aluminum, a safe ingredient that prevents you from sweating. Level 2 knowledge: Deodorants that don't have aluminum have other ways of making you smell good. Some have acid that prevent bacteria from growing. Level 3 knowledge: the actual quantity of liquid sweat is different than the bad smell that people emanate. The smelly smell of a locker room / armpit is very different than the liquid that accumulates on your face/hands. You might actually like to have MORE liquid sweat itself, if the smell is eliminated! Something like glycolic acid can hypothetically prevent underarm bacteria growth while allowing free flow of liquid coolant.
